Glow & Flow is my interactive, age-appropriate puberty and period preparedness workshop for girls ages 9–13. In just one day, we cover everything from how the body changes during puberty to understanding the menstrual cycle, hygiene, emotional wellness, and body confidence. We finish with a hands-on DIY Period Pouch craft so each girl leaves both informed and prepared.
-
It’s for any girl in that early adolescent stage. Whether she’s just starting to notice changes, has already begun puberty, or has had her period for a while. The workshop meets them exactly where they are, with content that’s relatable and easy to understand.
-
The program runs about a 2 hours total, including hands on craft time.
We can deliver it as a single-day event or adapt it into shorter sessions depending on the school’s or group’s schedule.

Love this question!
Most school programs provide a quick overview of puberty and menstrual health. Glow & Flow gives girls a deeper understanding in a safe, stigma-free space with time for real questions, open discussion, and interactive learning. I also make sure every participant leaves with tangible tools they can use right away.
-
Yes. I use correct terms and clear explanations, but everything is presented in a way that’s sensitive to their age and comfort level. My goal is to empower girls without overwhelming them.

Most girls open up more when they have the space to talk without a parent in the room. For this reason, all workshops are drop off and pick up without parents sticking around in class. This gives our girls the safe space to be completely open without feeling like “mommy/daddy” is looking over their shoulders listening in.
Don’t worry parents! We aren’t leaving you out. I hold a quick recap session with all parents during pick up time to inform everyone one what was covered and how to keep the conversations going at home.
